Was wondering what would the best way to get more horse power out of my 97gt, I'm looking to spend around 800-1000$
The cars pretty much stock except for a t45 trans, clutch, pypes catback exhaust

Any ideas?

 

PI head swap and a tuner

 

Look into a PI swap. You could probably get everything for about 1000 if you look around and then do the labor yourself. That will give you the most bang for your and help be a little more responsive to mods later on down the road

 

Does AmericanMuscle carry pi heads? And how much horse you think it will add?

 

I don't know that American Muscle carries them, however the PI heads will put you over 260 crank.

No, your gonna have to get takeoffs. They are pretty easy to find especially on ebay. You also gonna need the intake as well. They would be from a 99-04 GT
