Can someone tell me what the Normal Warm Idle oil pressure is for a stock 04 Mach I motor is. I'm looking to purchase a Factory Five Cobra with a 04 Mach I motor but the guy says it runs a low idle PSI when warm. Something like 20-22 PSI. What is the normal oil pressure (PSI) for these motors Any help would be much appreciated.

My Ford shop manual says........Oil Pressure (Hot 1500 rpm) 138-310 kPa......You would have to convert that to psi.

Thanks TJ4Cam. That seems like a very wide range. 138-310 kPa translates to 20 - 45 PSI.

Do you have an oil presure gauge in your 03 Mach I? Can you tell me what your idle oil presure is after the car is warm?
