'03 cobra engine pull

hey guys, just wondering if any of you would be able to tell me or give me some tips on pulling a 03 32v out of a wrecked cobra. At the shop I work at we are putting the 32v in a 70 mustang vert shelby clone. Ive been told that you have to pull the motor and trans from the bottom but was wondering if that is completly true. Any suggestion that you have please let me know of give me an idea. i want this to work out easy as possible with out screwing anything up.

Thanks
Sean

Tranny from the bottom motor from the top, with the motor going into a 70 model you'll need to get a programmer to turn off the pats (passive anti-theft security) security system in the computer all 96-present mustangs have a RF chip inside the key a control box in the trunk of the car sends out a signal when it detects the key it tells the computer it's ok to start the engine

Hey thanks that deffinatly clears up any guessing games. It also makes the most sense to me. I knew about the Programmer and security stuff. We are getting a coil pack and ignition relocation pack to either under the dash or in the trunk. this kit comes with all of the override chips and things to make sure the thing starts when where done. Thanks for the Help I certainly appreciate it.

we learned alot and also found out when ever you pull a modular 4.6 5.4 or 6.8 V-10 to have a Valley brace to pull the engine. Ford has a special tool designed to not put stress on the block causing it to crack. We actually made the device in about a half in hour. it bolts into the front 2 idler bracket holes and the top to bell housing holes. we pulled the motor and tranny at once so we made the bracket fit to the outside of the bell housing but other wise i would reccoment making it fit from the Front inside lip of the valley to the back side of the block.
Motor pull went good, I only hope it goes in the 70 just as good. We also are installing the Rear IRS pack in the 70. Glad they make a kit for that.
