So Im still fighting my fuel gremlins. A little background....'check gas cap' light has been on for about 2 weeks steady. From start up to shut down. Fuel mileage has gone down as well. Ive traced the lines and checked for leaks and cant find anything...have not pressure tested yet. I did pick up a new cap and it seemed to help some. It now takes about 15 miles before the light will turn on...

Someone mentioned that there may be a tank that fills with excess fuel when you top off your tank, that there is a sensor that could go bad in there or that its full, tripping that light. Is this true?

Was tracing the fuel lines and found one that goes from the filler neck, along the front of the tank, to this....is this simply the fuel pump, or could this be that tank? ...drivers side, next to the fuel tank.

Evap leak could be a gas cap gone bad or the filler neck vent hose......
