Thumbs up

Hate to sound like a newbie, but can someone answer this for me? I'm planning to start in about an hour, and would like some help.

I am wanting to replace my exhaust myself. I can't even get started!

I need to jack the car up, AND place jack stands.

I don't want to place the stands on the axle, because I want the axle to drop as much as possible. I was going to jack, and place the stands at the jack points as I jacked it up. One on each side, one at a time. Does this sound right?

Also, When I started using where it looks like the factory is telling me, it's looks like it'll break the side moulding. When I moved in closer to the subframe connectors (in the flat area) , it started to bend the floor pan. I've also heard our subframe connectors can't hold it either (they'll bend).

Maybe I'm just retarded.

I don't know if this helps but when we use the lift in the garage we put the supports on the ridge just beside the ground effects. Never gave me any problems.
