I was just wondering...just how much of a gain could you expect for a supercharged V6? Say around 5-7lbs of boost.

Procharger states a 50% gain with 7lbs of boost...
280-300hp i'm guessing...

The 11lbs of boost is up to 80%

Thanks...I was thinking I was going to go with the V6 and save the insurance and gas while my warrenty runs out. Then I'll supercharge it and do the required drivetrain upgrades. (I was going to get some new rear gears anyway...)

There is a guy around town here with a 00 v6 automatic. On a safe tune and a vortech pushing 6lbs he made 230rwhp. He just upped it to 10lbs and will be getting it retuned soon. I think he's hoping for 300rwhp.

I'm not hoping for GT beating power...just something to give it a little more...oomph.

And I just found out I can get the Supercharger Kit for free from my uncle, so all i'll have to pay my own will be beefing up whatever needs it...

Another question...what would be a good boost level for making some decent power while remaining pretty reliable? Is a supercharger all together a good idea for a daily driver?

As a daily drivier and everything you requested, I say 4 lbs is perfect. No more no less. 5 lbs is debatable.
