I bought my 89 gt about a week ago and the back window had had a crappy home done tint job on it, it was all bubbly and sort of purple. ive got most of the plastic laminate or whatever it is off (after about 8 or 10 hours ) but does anyone know of anything that works good to get the glue off the window?

Ammonia and a soft brillo pad, or one of those scrubber sponges. The tint remover stuff you can buy from walmart or auto stores also works decently to help break the glue loose.

I did my back side windows of my vert with single edge blades and
pealed what I could. This was followed with automotive Enamel paint reducer on a paper towel.

It contains Acetone That's the key Acetone
Smaller quantities can be found at Womens beauty Salons.
They use it for their Nails.

BE VERY Careful Acetone does eat paint.
and is flammable when near sparks or open flame

My wife tells me acetone can be found at Walmart
Near the nail polish remover.

I found it alot faster than those SOS pads and water that I too tried first. Good luck.......
