Need advice for new rocker arms

I'm having my '74 351w heads be converted to fully adjustable rockers. I told the machine shop that I would supply the parts (rockers, studs guides and seals).
I'm not sure what thread size to order for the studs or which seals to buy. Do I need 3/8 or 7/16 studs? I'm not sure what valve stem seals to buy because I need to know valve stem diameter. I know they were fitted with 1.94/1.60 valves a few years ago. I haven't ordered anything yet. I could have had him order the parts himself but I thought I might be able to get better prices online rather than pay his prices. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
In case you're wondering why I'm wasting time with stock heads , it's because I already have a lot of money into them from the last time I built my motor. The press in studs started pulling out so I'm having them done the way I should of had them to begin with...

Also, how loose are the stockers? You could pin them in place.

Yeah I could have them pinned but I think I'm going with screw in studs and 7/16 studs this time.

I'm going to go with roller rockers so I assume I need to get rockers that fit the same size stud? Any advice for what brand rockers to get? I'm thinking about either Comp Cams or Scorpions.

Yes. The rockers have to match the stud. Comps are good. Have heard the scorpions are also. I use crane.

Amother thing I am confused on is what is the difference between pedestal mount and stud mount rockers? I'm assuming I need stud mount...correct?

Pedestal sits on the rocker boss basically, and a bolt goes through the top of rocker and bolts it to the boss, no stud is used. Stud is exactly what it sounds like, rocker has a nut that attaches it to the stud.

So, I probably need to stud mount style, from what you described?

If you have rocker studs, yes.
