svopaul....Yeah, I got mine from Late Model Restoration...just cause I am too lazy to look in junk yards. I checked a parts store (advance auto) and they said they didnt have it and I should check a junk yard or dealer...so I just ordered it. Ithought it was pricey but I could spare it.

Desi, the striker will slide up and down about a half inch. I started at the bottom and kept moving it up until the hatch/latch secured properly. It is just a bolt with a bushing around it. Before you tighten it down you should be able to see it will slide up and down.
