Amp wont turn off

Amp wont turn off

Hey i have an Alpine deck and an Alpine V12 MRV-100M Sub amp and when i turn the car off the amp is still on....does anyone know why? The remote lead from thre amp is connected to the deck and all the connections are fine..

Does your deck stay on also? If so, that's probably why your amp stays on. In that case, check the connections from your deck to the car's wiring and make sure the 'power on-off ' leads are connected properly so that the deck shuts off when the car shuts off. Then double check the amp's 'remote' lead, it should be connected to the deck's 'power antenna/amp on-off ' lead.
