The 351H.O. isn't anyting to get all worked up over, maybe during the time it came out but that is it really. It was made in the mid 80's came with a 4bbl and intake with a marine grind cam shaft, other than that it is the same 351.

K just pulled the heads off the motor and 6 holes look good and the front two have a rig from the ring that u can click ur fingernails on...anyone know why the two front cylinders are the only ones to do this... Would u consider this to be a bad thing or normal on a 351...how much is to much of a rig before having to bore....or just a new set of rings...pistons look good and no scratches or groves in the walls...

Just like bone stated I'd probally go with a bore job. depending on the how much of a ridge and what you have after you take it down and hone in the end a bore is probally the best bet but then again I'm sitting at my house and not looking at it either.
