Just an FYI... on my 5sp, using Gt40 heads, 70mmTB, factory Cobra MAF, TrickFlow "Street Heat" upper/lower, 24#, 155l/hr pump and tuned... I hit 275/295 at rear wheels... tuned and chipped by Pete Johnson at Performance Dyno, Louden NH.

I have a catted H, 2.5in MagnaFlow, 3.55s in my 93 Coupe.

If the bottom end is tight then no. A leak down or compression test will provide a good idea of teh state of the motor. these are pretty stout engines.

take some time and glance through our tech sticky there is some good info on all kinds of stuff that is helpful.

Yeah that is about ball park, some have gotten some more out of there GT40 combos but I tell everyone dynos are different shop to shop and brand to brand, they are more a tool vs a true # but they give a real good idea.

I know they are far from you guys but another place I like to recommend is Dez racing. Mike is real good and has done some feature motor builds in most of the mustang mags. It isn't uncommon to see stangs at his shop with plates from N.H., Maine, N.Y. amd Jersey to name a few.

Wonder how much that setup would gain by changing the cam?

since they have better flowing heads than stock but not has good has aluminum and figuring other factors ( dyno, head work, and cam specs) a ball park would be 20hp gain over a stock cam easy. A GT40 topend with supporting mods IE: correct inj, fuel pump, tune and stage1/2 cam would net 20-25hp gain over the stock cam easy a custom grind slightly more.
