Opera windows

I found these picture on a Croatian web-site ... Did this generation of Mustang even came with opera windows as a option?

They were pretty popular on larger luxury cars back in the 1970s.

That looks like a '72. I had a '71 Mustang fastback (sports roof) back in the day and they did have a real bad blind spot. This guy probably decided to address that issue with an aftermarket kit or salvaged them from a mid to late 70's T-Bird or Lincoln.

I was going to say a Mustang would NEVER come from the factory with opera windows... but in '75 they did!

Yeah, it was available on the Mustang II, but as far as I know not before that.

The opera windows where something that you could get with the II, but I think it was only available in the earlier years and only with the Ghia. The car in the first post looks a lot like the '72 fastback with an aftermarket opera window.

I actually like it. Personally, I'm not a fan of the '71-'73 mustangs, but I like the little 'peak' windows.
