I was working on my car last night and found this. I thought it was very interesting. I have never heard about these before.

You should keep the sheet and any other info that you have accumulated on your car that way if you should sell it down the road all the documentation will add to the price.

It must be nice finding the original, i found a build sheet in my car under one of the seats but all it did was tell me that my seats come from a 75 chevy blazer w/o ac LOL!

Very cool.

It must be nice to have something so original. My poor car has been torn apart and reassembled so many times, changed colors inside and out at least 3 times. A build sheet wouldn't be any good for me anyhow. I guess the up side is I don't have to feel bad about making it mine.

Can I figure out if the car still has the original engine in it from the sheet?
Also was the special equipment group the same thing as a GT?

Thanks

You'll need to crawl under and remove your starter to see the casting numbers on your engine block. But even then, all you'll learn is the type of car the engine was destined for and the month/year of production. There's not really any such thing as a "matching numbers" early Mustang.
