Hey guys real quick my mustang parts supplier has a date stamped 4 barrel intake and matching carb for the same year as my car so that I can stay original ish. So am I right for the conversion it's the carb, intake, riser, and fuel pump that need to be replaced for the conversion.

You just need the intake and carb. If by riser you mean air filter, that housing is the same as well. Fuel pump doesn't need to be replaced.

He might be talking about a carb spacer?

But yeah, you shouldn't need to change the fuel pump unless you're doing a good bit more to the motor.

i think the riser may be that about 1 inch thick plate between the carb and the intake that the PVC valve hooks to ...

I never had one on my 67, so I didn't think about that.

Yes that is the part I am talking about the part between the two. Is there a large gain with an edelbrock low rise intake over the stock 4brl one? If so I may just hang onto my setup and but the edelbrock.
