my master cylinder lid is stuck on almost like the black paint on it got stuck from the heat. I don’t want to beat on it too hard to get it off. It’s a show car so I don’t want to slop the hell out of it with a penetrating blast or something like that. Anyone out there run into this or have any suggestions?

 

as you say it must be glued down by the paint .. a gentle tap with a hammer and a piece of wood mite be needed ...
