Tranny Fluid.

I just had my tranny serviced at the Good old lube of jiffy. Servise Pro Full Synthetic ATF is what they ended up placing in my tranny. I have never heard of Service Pro. Have you?

Just make sure it is OK for your Mustang. Check your owner's manual. Look at this link as there is a warning about some types of Fords under the description with the 'synthetic blend'. You are probably fine but double check. http://www.service-pro.com/documents...leSynBlend.pdf

Thanks it says it meets or exceeds Mercon and Mercon-V applications. The internet is funny 05 and 06 tranny called for the mercon but after those years they called for mercon v and they have the same tranny. Your link had just the right amount of info to actually know what to look for. Thanks.

It's because Mercon has been phased out. It is now replaced by Mercon V.

There's still "Dexron / Mercon" conventional ATFs that service those applications, the Mercon V is a synthetic that will backwards cover previous Mercons as well as Ford Type H and Type CJ fluids.
