16 Order Date ?

I'm going to order a GT PP. Since there's no incentives on the 15 and I live in Michigan ( I won't drive the car until around April ). I'm starting to think 16 & maybe the order bank will be open around May ? Anyone else have a more educated guess ? Thanks ! Scott

There could be incentives on the 15's in June....there won't be any on the 16's in June. Viscous circle?

I'm waiting for the 2020 refresh when the Mustang goes with the 'all' aluminum body with the weight loss the 2015 was rumored to have had.

Exactly! Im thinking they will slap the 5.2L Voodoo motor in the GT by then also, the Coyote will be long in the tooth by then. I think the new Ats based 460hp Camaro will force Ford to up there game after 2017. This is just my opinon but, think of the 2015 and 2016 Mustangs as the new 2010's, with newer body and caryover motor! 500hp and lighter weight... Hhmmm... yeh i think ill wait and see what the near future bring's and maybe that will be worth the switch from my 14'..

As much as I can't stand GM, I'm going to take a good long look @ the new Camaro. Depending on price to performance ratio I might be interested in one. Scott

I agree! I may go to the dark side, but only if they have cookies! I personally feel that GM is producing a beast right now that will destroy the current Mustang. When Ford fires back for 2016 or 2017 with a more powerful Mustang " im thinking larger motor, 5.2L maybe?" Then it might be worth trading my 14'. Lets face it, Ford didnt just biuld the new Voodo motor exclusive for the GT350. Way to much R&D! Ford is waiting to see what GM comes up with and then "Bam" ( 2017 Mustang Gt with 5.2L 500hp! ) They just massaged the Coyote for the roll out of the 15'. Think of the 15' like the 2010 lol! Ill take my chances and wait!

Yea, I'd really like to see something other that the 5.0 in the GT, I'm sure it won't happen in 16 either. What you're saying ALL makes sense. I can't see spending 60k on a GT 350 for a spare car that'll sit most of the time. The new car to me is different enough in handling & looks for me to justify buying one. However if/when the new Camaro comes out & clocks the Mustang I sure as hell won't be very happy !! Scott
