This is why I can't stand taking my car anywhere to be serviced. No one gives a crap about their work. You take a car in to fix one thing and they break something else. I'd flip out on them if being nice doesn't work.

Wow, just can't catch a break. And you thought they were dangerous in your car, apparently they'll kill you in your house too!

Well it is done! Yea!

Went in to get some final warranty work done about a month ago. Car was running down to the end of bumper to bumper on 10/19. They had to order a part, said I was up so they also ordered my inflator as well. They did not expect to get it for a while. Went in today to finalize the work and it just so happened that the the inflator showed up in todays shipment, just like magic. Took 1 1/2 for full LOF service, warranty work and replace air bag inflator.

waiting for them to call you and tell you they have one? Or waiting for a notice in the mail? Have you already talked to your dealer and they said they'd call you when it came in?

2 letters from Dealer (Feb. 2016) saying they would contact me when it comes in, said it would probably be Sept. 2016, Nothing yet.

I never got a letter. I made an appointment online for my local dealer to fix the warranty issue. They fixed it.

Have gotten two letters from Ford, the last this past summer. Said parts should be in during the last quarter of the year. Haven't much faith in the local dealer to keep on top of notifying me so I'm going to give them a call.

I was at the Dealer exactly 50 minutes for the recall fix and they didn't destroy
anything in the process.

hmmmmm . . . . now that you mention it, I did not pay that close attention, there actually were two recalls and I don't know if they did both of them or just one

I guess I'll have to call them and ask . . .
