The idea of classic Mustangs topping a dream list for most desired collectible cars comes as little surprise in the U.S., but in Europe? Yep, it appears so. A study conducted with more than 75,000 people from Belgium, Austria, Germany, Holland and Spain found that 37 percent of those surveyed named the Ford Mustang as […] More »
When it comes to the Ford Mustang, there is no name more synonymous with the brand and more iconic than Shelby. For nearly 50 years, the Shelby name has defined the epitome of high-performance Mustangs from the early GT350s to the 200 mph, 662-horsepower Shelby GT500, which debuted prior to Mr. Shelby’s death in 2012. The Mustang is the clear winner here. Poor deer looked fairly small and I’m guessing didn’t come out to well. Hard to say how much damage the Mustang sustained. Props to the driver for staying calm and in control. Video after the jump!

Back in May MustangsDaily featured a very special 1966 Mustang Fastback built by Pure Vision Design. Debuting at the 2012 SEMA Show, the car has a European road rally theme using a Shelby GT350R as a theoretical base and features a Martini Racing paint scheme, custom four-spoke knock-off wheels and a genuine 1960s Ford Indycar V8 mated to a C&R 4-speed race transmission. Combine that with incredible attention to detail and build quality, and we can easily say it’s one our favorite custom Mustangs ever created.
