With news that the 2015 Mustang has kicked into full production, it won’t be long before you see it on the streets, or better yet, in your driveway.

In my last post, “2013 Mustang GT: The Perfect Purchase?” – I went over the reasons as to why I laid down my hard-earned greenbacks on America’s favorite pony car. For me, it was the great combination of value, reliability and performance that the Mustang GT offered. However, after a few years of ownership, it was time for me to take the car to the next level.

Recently Ford tuner Steeda stated that the 2015 Ford Mustang had gained nearly 300lbs. Later, though, they retracted their statement saying it was just a guess based on “previous experience” with IRS suspension Mustangs. Well, now a Florida dealer has shared some new information on the 2015 Mustang and it’s some great news—in a way.

Dave Martis competes in the AI class with his K&N Engineering Ford Mustang RTR and has allowed us to show you the details of his amazing ride. I haven’t known Dave for very long; in fact, the day I pulled into K&N Engineering to shoot the car and get the details of the build was the first time I met him face to face.
