Billed as Ford’s best-handling Mustang ever, the GT350 not only revives the nameplate of Shelby’s iconic racing car, but also it revives the spirit and track-focused nature that made the original GT350 an absolute monster on the racetrack.

The latest seems to be confirmation that the upcoming variant will be badged GT350 with speculation that it will come equipped with a unique 5.2-liter V8 engine sporting a flat-plane crankshaft pushing out 600 hp.

It seems the announcers at an Indianapolis Motor Speedway race might have leaked a bit of important information on the new Mustang, like when the GT350 might make its first appearance.
