Sleeping Driver Hits Starbucks Curb and Lands in Popeye’s Chicken Parking Lot

Let us preface this bizarre incident by saying that the driver didn’t suffer any serious injuries. Kind of hard to believe, given the condition of the Mustang, right?

Okay, so, now that we’ve gotten over that hump, let’s dig straight into the idea of how this Mustang accident is even more ridiculous than a lot of those infamous Cars & Coffee incidents.

For starters, this car actually ended upside down in the parking lot of a Popeye’s Chicken restaurant. Apparently, no Cars & Coffee events were involved. Although, there is a Starbucks worth mentioning.

According to San Angelo Live, the driver fell asleep at the wheel and lost control of the 2007 Mustang. The sleeping driver ironically hit the curb of a Starbucks, then the Mustang hit a pole, which caused it to flip over before landing in a Popeye’s Chicken parking lot.

A Mustang, a Starbucks, and a Popeye’s Chicken. Sounds like some kind of wild prank someone would try to pull off for a reality TV stunt. Then again, compiling all the videos of Mustang burnouts gone wrong at Cars & Coffee events would top most reality TV.
