SIRIUS PLUG AND PLAY FOR 05 up Mustang

Hello,

I got some good News today. A plug and Play SIRIUS kit should be available in 6 to 8 weeks. Good News for the 05/06 Mustang Owners out there. Preliminary Pricing is estimated at $399.00 per Kit. I will post further Info as available. I will say I am on the List for an Early Batch and need to gauge Interest in order to get the Best deal and have them available to my TMS Customers. If you would like to be one of the First please Just post NOTIFY WHEN AVAILABLE. You will be under no obligation to purchase but will have Priority in line. I believe these will be a HOT MOVER!!!! This Will be Controlled through the Aux Button and is a Hardwire Setup. No External Controls. [ This aint' no Trip Tunes!]

I would imagine the antenna will be similar to the 07 models, but I wonder if it will mount on the roof as well as the trunk lid...

What kind of warranty does this come with? Is this a Ford part?

I'm interested, but at $399 this is the highest priced Sirius tuner on the market, and with Sirius your subscription is tied to your tuner, i.e. your tuner takes a crap 30 days after you get it, you have to buy a new tuner and a new subscription. Unless of course it's under warranty.

NOTIFY WHEN AVAILABLE.

I got a Xcat Visor and hated it and got a different Xcat receiver a week later and was able to transfer over my subscription with no problems.

If you do not want to hang it outside, you can mount it under the package tray/headrest fairing. I mounted my XM antenna there and have only a slight decrease in reception.

If I had to wager I'd bet against it.

It sounds like this will be taking up the AUX input that the PIE adapter uses...

NOTIFY WHEN AVAILABLE. This has been on Thor's wish list for some time. One question though, is this something a local dealer can install or do I have to do it? A silly question to some out there but I had to ask.

Cheers,
Jon

I almost forgot! Is it possible to link an iPod to the Sirius headunits?
