Mustang Of The Week: A Gorgeous 2007 Mustang GT Convertible

This Beautiful 2007 Mustang GT Convertible Belongs to One of Our Newer Members Here at The Mustang Source

Since we all have different tastes, there’s never really a formula to make a car completely perfect. However, simplicity, and even a slightly warmed-up, mostly-stock vehicle generally makes things just right.

Case in point: soldierboy609‘s Mustang GT is modest, all things considered, with what appears to be a tune on top of a cold air intake. It’s simple, and represents what a large majority of us would like to accomplish. Who doesn’t want to wake the engine up a little bit without digging terribly into the pocketbook? And, of course, being one of our newer members, we are sure soldierboy609 will find tremendous value being part of a forum with other knowledgeable members.

Soldierboy609 obviously enjoys his Mustangs, as well, having previously owned a ’74, ’65, and ’67 in that order. He describes his ’67 as being quite fast, which makes this 2007 GT convertible a bit of a departure from what he may be used to. However, tastes change, and this represents what a lot of people want to do with their cars.

Not everyone is trying to make a 7-second 1/4-mile car, which makes these simple changes even more appreciated. We can sometimes get wrapped up in the platform’s capabilities, when sometimes we just want a nice weekend cruiser. That’s just one of the reasons we’ve picked soldierboy609’s GT as our Mustang of the Week.

And for the record, soldierboy609 isn’t just a FoMoCo guy. He likes GM stuff, as well. Need further proof? That’s his C4 Corvette just above.
