This is the second time I've used it and I'm diggin' the stuff. No petroleum ingredients, little to no VOC's, no streaks or smudging, and as far as I can tell no surface scratches. I'm still experimenting and after the wash I applied a coat of Turtle Wax liquid for black cars. Shortly after I got done a package arrived from Croftgate which included a bottle of Quick-n-Slick. It's advertised as a protectant and supposedly has some dust repellent properties so what the h*ll...I applied Q & S over the fresh wax as a sealer. Keeping my fingers X'd that the finish I achieved lasts. Really happy with the way it looks. I might have to order a few more products and integrate them into my detailing routine.
Looks great! Definitely interested in seeing how it fairs after using it for the summer (with driving and stuff)!

Thanks Jay. I used this stuff called Quick-n-Slick as a sealer/dust repellent. I was skeptical about the repellent claim, but it seems to have worked to a fair degree. This morning there was very little overnight garage dust...usually it's very noticeable. I'm waiting for the NJ pollen tornadoes any day now....that'll be the test. Supposedly this stuff creates a very hard surface and the little pollen barbs can't dig in as much. We'll see.

Definitely do an update after that, cause I would love to have something that repels dust! My car is currently coated in dust just from being in the garage (and I was too lazy to put the cover on last time since I did not expect all the late season bad weather over the last few weeks)...

I took mine for a ride to get coffee late last week, but other than that, it's been in the garage for the past month or so with all the snow we've gotten over that same time period... Work is slow today and it's suppose to rain from Saturday through next Wednesday (at least) here, so I am thinking about doing an oil change and adding my chin spoiler today... Otherwise, it's going to be another couple weeks before I can get to it...

It's not 100% effective, but it did seem to keep a lot of dust off, and what's left was very easy to wipe off dry. I had no fear of causing surface scratches.

However, I was just doing the wheels and interior in the driveway and it got funky with outside dust. No getting around that I suppose.

Well, it is black, which means within seconds of cleaning it, it will be dusty... That's rule #1... LOL!

It is frustrating to clean the car and 15 minutes later after a drive, or even sitting in the garage, it is completely covered with dust. It appears it is the rubbing action that causes the static which becomes a dust magnet. There are not many options except running water over the freshly cleaned car which doesn't sound appealing to me. I tried something yesterday and so far it seems to help. I don't use heat to dry the cloths and before using a cloth I spray it with Static Guard. This morning after sitting overnight and going on a drive I am fairly impressed. It has dust but definitely not the extent that it normally would.

Nice! Anything to help keep the dust at bay!

I tried to work on my car today, but the car Gods are saying no. My jack decided to crap out and so I went and got another one, but now my ramps are not letting me drive up on them (the tread is just too worn), so now I need a new set of those too (which I have been wanting to do anyway, cause the ones I have are pretty cheap)... Good intentions and all that...

Got replenished on Amsoil oil and a few more filters.
I am still waiting on 3 filters, for my truck.
Once they show up I'll have enough oil and filters for 3 oil changes for each of the 4 vehicles my fiancee and I own

Yup. Gotta buy it when it makes sense.
And a free shipping promo makes sense.
Saved almost $34 on top of the savings I get by being a Preferred Customer
