My GT is going in for paint correction and ceramic coating.........
Has anyone else had this done? Mine is going in to Venomous Works in Yorktown, VA next week to get the paint correction done and Croftgate Assurance Ceramic Coating applied.
Any input or opinions is appreciated!

You will be very happy with the results. Be sure to ask about their recommendations for maintenance. Most ceramic coat manufacturers have some sort of "reload" that reactivates the hydrophobic molecules in the coating and keeps it slick.

I had this done 3 months ago. Its AMAZING!! Took about a week with the correction and the 3 coats of the ceramic with curing in between, but worth every minute I suffered without her! The dealer gave me all the warranty paperwork and aftercare instructions. I only use hyperwash on it, and use very thick edge free microfiber rags from the Rag Company. I will attach a pic from the day I finally picked her up.. The shine stops traffic!

Been doing a little research on this, it's different than what I had pictured. Does it add any additional protection? Like from rock chips? Or people bushing their coats against the car when they get out of theirs in the parting lot? Or is it mainly a more longer lasting solution to waxing?

Washed the car and the shop did a two stage paint correction which consisted of buffing out all the fine scratches and micro swirls. Then application of the coating. This stuff is applied with a special applicator from a bottle, no spray. Then allow it to cure overnight.

Just checked a place out here 1400 plus 200 for the paint correction and lifetime coating. 6 month is 799 plus 200 for paint correction. Holy smokes. the ceramic coating kit from Amazon is like 60 bucks. I think I will shop around a little more or invest in a buffer and the stuff to do it myself.

I imagine there is some justification for referring to these products as "ceramic"; I'd like to hear what it is. "Ceramic" that is spread on from a bottle falls outside my long-time apprehension of the meaning of "ceramic".
