It's been over 2 weeks since I washed it last and the back wheel is covered in dust from R8 pads (even more so than the front!), but in this photo it looks ok a little dirty.
Can't go wrong cruising down Alki....could be a little crowded, but there are still usually a lot of nice rides out.
Alki is a great place to showcase your ride for sure, but watch out for some of those locals who aren't impressed with all the traffic up and down their side streets. I got the stink-eye occasionally when i got lost and had to turn around LOL
Thanks Tony! We need moarrrrr pics of that 3k mile Green Beast!
You're welcome sir!!!
Whhhooooaaaaaaaaaa,...............there's still less than 3k on her! lol (I haven't driven it in over a week. Working out and the new puppy keeps me busy! lol) Definitely this weekend if weather permits.

Got around to taking some actual camera pics with the stripes put on instead of just cellphone pics. Not my favorite quality but they'll do for now. The ones where the car is in my driveway was after a wash with Chem Guys products - Mr. Pink wash, a coat of EZ Creme Glaze, and Blitz acrylic sealant. Also use Meticulously Matte cleaner/UV protectant for the stripes.
Some of the pictures you all post on here are gorgeous...any tips for taking stunning photos of the pony?! Burton's car looks dripping wet and amazing and super crisp in the photo's he takes!

Everyone's cars are looking great!
Lol... Thanks man! Based on the pics I see, no advice needed . Looking good dude! I see you're already using some of the best products out there. Keep up that great work in both detailing and photography and keep your paint SWIRL FREE!!! (That's really the secret)
I bet you do Sean. Awesome car. Any updates on your baby?
I think JPC should have the motor towards the end of this week so I am hoping to have it done by next week. They had a N/A motor that made in the 630 range and mine has the potential to make more then that one did. Will it? Who knows but north of 630 on a N/A car would be absolutely bonkers

Very nice!! I may have to go with that then. I was thinking 30%, but I wasn't too sure if that was too light of a tint on the car or not.

Sean - I must be living in a hole with no wifi. LOL. What are you having done to your Boss?!?!?!?!?!?! I did not know.

I have my build thread here if you would like to peruse it. Basically, just pushing a coyote motor almost to the limits of what it can do. If I had gotten the JPC 344ci block then I think that would have pushed it all the way to the limits, but I stayed "conservative" on the build.
Thanks! Nothing close to your beauty but I do my best!

Swirl free is the goal although I'm sure there are some in there. It's hard to tell with SGM tbh which is partly why I like the color. Over 3 years of owning it and doing my best to take care of it and I haven't polished her yet. The paint's luster still appears to be pretty good but I plan on learning to polish soon just to be sure. Never done it so I'm a bit apprehensive about making the problem worse but if I look into it enough, hopefully it will turn out alright. Your car really is one of the cleanest looking rides I've ever seen.

And yes, they're Roush AB's on my sixxer. I'll try to get a decent quality sound clip/video to upload. I have a few recorded but nothing spectacular. I actually think it sounds relatively good for everything else on the car being stock. A little raspiness depending on the speed and RPMs I'm climbing through and how hard I'm accelerating but from what I've read, some shorty headers help a bit and if it still bothers me, I could get some glasspack resonators installed for relatively cheap and that should remove it completely. Either way, over the stock exhaust, I'm very happy with the Roush's for the price. I've been trying to strike a decent balance between tasteful/useful mods and spending a crap ton of money. The Borla's all seemed great but were $700+ and I got my Roush's for $400. Sound wasn't different enough to justify the price jump to me.
On that note, your exhaust is ****ing mean. From the sound clips you posted post Kooks exhaust mod, it sounds like you ride straight out of hell everytime you turn the car on. My neighbors would hate me...

Thanks! I did the stripes myself and I'm pretty proud of them. I would have loved to be able to drop the money on painted stripes for the durability but for very small fraction of the cost (~150 bucks compared to ~2500) I was able to get the look I wanted and have money left over for other mods! My Airaid CAI should be here tomorrow and I've already got the tuner with an 87 and 93 Octane Steeda tune ready to be uploaded to the car!
