It's a shame, I remember you telling me about the lengthy process waiting for those badboys to have coated.

Stock gray coil covers, smoothed, primed, painted a base color, then hydro-dipped with the skull pattern, then cleared, wet-sanded, and polished.

Done by a local place, in Hampstead, NH.

Unfortunately, the only pics I have so far are phone pics.
Will take more soon with my camera.

Also got the intake tube done:

Gabe. Very nice. Hydrodipped? Did that cost as much as just painting?

Not sure how much just painting would've cost, but the skull pattern is hard to paint, would need to be airbrushed, and that's time consuming, so you either pay more labor or pay for hydro-dip pattern material ... either way it's clear-coated.

Airbrushing like that, on those pieces, would probably run $1k plus, unless you know the person. This was was much more cost effective.

Nice! Looks good. Was it an Idaho potato by any chance?? LMMFAO
I wouldn't mind doing my coil covers in a snakeskin GHIG/black color.

Lol, a Wal-Mart potato, wherever they come from.

I bought a spare set of coil covers so I wouldn't lose the Boss302 blue ones I've been using, which will now get hung on a wall in the garage somewhere

Since I bought my used set of covers for $40+, the GT350 black covers became available for stupid cheap, like $12-13 each via Tasca and other online sellers ... I wanna buy a set just to have, lol

EDIT:

Order placed

FR3Z-6P067-B
FR3Z-6P067-A
$12.87 each

Awesome. That's very inexpensive! They would look great on the wall of the garage.
