Are white faced instruments available for 05 GT?
OK, sent NR an email, this is the response I got back:
"Yes the symbols under the tachometer show through the face when lit.
Attached is a picture of the face lit up. The picture is the V6 model and is not very clear, but you can see the symbols"
So I guess I'll order and be the ginnie pig, I'll post pix in a few weeks!!!

Looks like the stock guage to me?

Humm???? According to the description on their website, the white faces turn black when the lights are on/at night??? I've never seen a stock v6, so now you guys have me wondering????? I kind of thought the same thing, but. I will try to call them today and verify this.....
per their web site.....
"1. Backlight Faces - Refer to the colors listed for your application. During the day, the gauge face will have the specified color (white, aluminum, yellow, etc.) with dark or black numerals. At night, the gauge face will be black and the numerals will be color listed for that application. For example, when a white face gauge inverts at night, the face becomes black and the numbers become white, blue , green, amber, etc. *For '05 Mustang with convenience group option, numerals will light up in many different combinations of colors."

[attachmentid=39941][attachmentid=39940]Why do they look different than UPRs? I mean, I know NR is the source, but I don't like the middle gauges to have the black background with the round openings in white.. is that how it comes from NR??

Is the black area part of the outer gauge? That's what I think. I'm going to order next week, so I will post pixs and my impressions.........
Reading the info on thier webpage, they say none of the pics show the NR logo, but that most of thier products do have it. DOH! I don't want a stupid logo on my gauges. Gotta wonder why they don't picture the logo. Is it ugly? Huge? Guess I will have to call them to find out.

The pics that I posted, the one of the left came from NR's website, I don't see a huge anything anywhere (except for the huge black area in the 4 gauge cluster, and THAT I don't like....)
Luke, please post pics when you get the part... I really want to get this (especially if it's at a 15% discount), but I'll save up to UPRs if the NRs have the 4 gauge cluster with that black background...

Yes please someone post pics!!!... and for MUSTANGJACK... could u please take some pictures by night? with some diferent colors, that would clean up my mind a lil bit more... cause i really want 2 see how they look with IUP and my color option... i might give them some mail and some questions... but i would love some pics first... thanks in davnace guys!!
I called NR, the black background is there... the first run of these gauges were completely white, they did it for a company that requested 300 of them, before they pattented the product. Before they would do any more they pattented the design and did it with the black backgrount to make the 4 gauges in the middle look like speedo and tach...
I think I'm sticking with the original design, all white, from UPR... too bad they have to inflate the price so much!

Good info!!!! That does make my decision harder, $92 vs $160 though - almost double.....darn choices!!!!!
Luke, I just ordered my set of white gauges from UPR. There's a 10% disc. coupon on the net (MSD) OR a 20% disc. coupon UPRMC05 that you can use at checkout. The price is still quite high, but I defenitely do not like the black background, and before they run out of the full white ones, I wanted to have one. Shipping to ORlando, FL is $10, and taxes were about $8-9.
I think if you mention TMS they offer a 10% disc. as well.
