Be carefull if you have the IUP upgrade package the Steeda white face replacements are for IUP only and I'm not sure about the UPR's check first before ordering.

I haven't taken the plunge to get them yet. I am waiting for someone else to get them and tell us about em.
I just got my white face set from US Speedo today. You might want to check them out at: http://usspeedo.com/ford_color.html/ They divide the center into four seperate gauges. They look like they should look great. The numbers are clear so they will work with "my color".
Just got a chance to install it this morning. 11/24/05

I have been emailing about the UPR setup. I asked about the functionality with the IUP, and yes, they work. They are alot nicer than the Steeda setup. The Steedas only fit half the speed-o and tach, not the four center gauges, which looks unfinished.

Would the dummy lights show through the full UPR ones? Would that be the only reason to get the half ones?

I really want to do this, but I'm looking for some input first. According to this work sheet (http://www.bradbarnett.net/mustangs/...al_cluster.pdf), taking off the cluster requires you to upload the config info using a diagnostic tool?? AND, depower the SRS??? Man that sounds like a scary install......HELP
It's easy. You just lower the wheel and pull the bezel off. There are 4 screws holding the cluster in place. Remove them and unplug the harness. The lens just clips off. They give you a diagram to mark where the needles are and a tool to remove them. Then you just peel the old overlay off. The worst part was cleaning the old adhesive off before placing the new overlay on.
Before you put the needles back on you take it back to the car and plug it back in. You can hear what sounds like motors reseting the gauges. Then you just put them back on where they were according to the diagram. If you messed up and moved one while you were putting them on, just plug it back in and reset it again. They said the whole thing is a 30 minute job. I would have been able to do that if I hadn't spent so much time cleaning the old adhesive off.
I think the downloading and reloading of the information mentioned in your link refers to replacement of the cluster with a new one. (ie. odometer information.) It doesn't seem like it lost any information since you just plug the same cluster back in.

Thanks for your feedback!!
I still like UPR better... the US Speedo ones only do half in white on tach and speedo. I like how the middle is done, but not the tach and speedo, I rather have the whole thing white!
I might have gone with the UPR one too, but no one could show me what it looks like in the car. Several people have had them on ebay the last few months and no one had pictures. I actually didn't even notice that the speedo and tach weren't full until I got it. I actually like the idiot lights on the black background. I noticed that the messege center lens seems to be quite light on the UPR. I would want to know if it can be seem in the daylight. I have one in my 2002 Mountaineer and it is impossible to read when it is sunny. Luckilly we don't have a lot of that in Michigan
I sent an email to UPR about theirs, this is the response I got back....
"We have not had the opportunity to install the gauges that we carry. They are made by NRauto and do not provide any instructions other than just general information on installation"
Please somebody else be the ginnie pig........I think I want these, but I must see my dummy lights - 'cause I can be a dummy sometimes!

Those actually look pretty good. Now I wish I had waited. I had asked about them a couple of months ago and didn't get much response. No one seemed to have done anything with these at that time.
