What a gorgeous puppy! I so want another German Shepherd!

 

Tag would love a lil german sheperd puppy to grow up with. Unfortunately, my house would get destroyed lol

I got super buzy with my mac, finally using some of that fancy software. I made a tribute video to Leto, complete with music. 6 1/2 minutes long.

Yes, of course I liked it, Darren, very much so. I'm sure you had a tough time putting that together. I don't mind admitting that it choked me up.

I thought of Shelby, my Sheltie who died suddenly in March '13. I love Tiki despite only having her part time, but Shelby was my guy. His remains are on my dresser with his collar and tags and a photo album. Tucked under his box is a folded copy of The Rainbow Bridge and I still read it from time to time.

He had the most god-awful breath, but I'd give just about anything to have him lick my face just one more time.

I could go on and on, but this is about Leto. I miss him for your sake, and the sake of anyone who has raised, loved, and then lost a friend that can never be replaced and who will never be forgotten.

R.I.P Leto....I never met you but I knew you well.

 

Thanks bro. There was a huge batch of photos that were lost due to a failed hard drive, before i had photobucket or the cloud. Leto grew up during my motorbike craze. He went to the track and hung out with pit crews. Perfectly at home among bikes and equipment. Nothing phased him lol! IN the hot summer he would sleep in the garage beside my race bikes, probably thinking he'd better, just in case another track day was coming up, he wouldn't want to miss it.

 

I just finished watching it. I see the pics you post, but I think this collection in the video tells a better story. Between the house, land, and the adventures he got to go on, his closeness with Tag, he was a lucky dog. Now if only all dogs could live that kind of life!

Great video Darren. I think my favorite photo was Leto tearing up the magazine when he was a puppy. Made me a little sad to think of Leto and my beloved dog.
What was the scar on his back from? What happened?

 

Oh Nya!! Does she eat the foam or just leave it all over? the latter i hope

 

Thanks Tony. Last spring we had cancer. it was the bad kind, but my vet did a great job of removing the tumor. We are pretty sure that it came back this fall and took him from us.

Oh, no! Thank goodness mine never really chewed anything except for ripping her stuffed animals apart and taking out the stuffing. She's never chewed shoes or gotten in the trash but there was one time that she got hold of a sponge on the patio my husband was using to clean the grease off of our camping grill. We had to give her the hydrogen peroxide treatment to make her puke it up
