Sorry Engaged... but have spent alot of time in waikiki...And Love it! (dated a guy for 4 years that was stationed at schofield)
No not Saleens daugther but the owner of the ford dealership kindof took my under his wing as his own and he was driving a SC351 at the time so I got a SC281...

I definitely woulld NOT have beem ready for a supercharged V8 at the age of 17, or 18. That's a huge responsibility and I know I would not have appreciated it for what it was.
Didn't have a dad into cars, but that actually helped my resourcefulness in terms of learning, I think? Though it sure would have helped me avoid some stupid mistakes along the way!

First time i was out i fell pretty bad... scraped my knee on a reef... still have that scar... that hurt
