You never know, you may get stationed out there. It is great for my son to have the opportunity to live there at his age, but it's so expensive to come home or for your family to come for a visit. Our friend's son is stationed in NY and he's already been home once and they just went to visit him for Thanksgiving. He's only been there for 6 months too. I was a lil jealous of them, lol.

That's true!!! But you're only young once and I'm sure your son is living it up!!! I'd take missing a couple holidays over freezing my *** off up at Ft Drum. haha
