very much the same reason I enjoy playing golf so much. It's an opportunity to get out of class, out of work, and just be out in nature for a while. It's quiet, you can hear the birds chirping, wind swishing through the trees, and there's nobody bothering you from the next office, nobody calling you on the phone and expecting you to answer. Just a nice chance to get away.

Well that's the difference between you and me. Call me country, I'll gladly wear that label.

The fact I can go out for a walk in the woods right behind my house and find signs of life, be it deer, raccoons, turkey, all the way to coyotes, bobcats and supposedly small black bear sightings, literally 100yds from my back door. That stuff appeals to me. Sitting on the river bank somewhere watching the sun set down into what seems like is the water, gives you time to unwind, think and just relax. People always said I was crazy for living 40+ miles from work and driving an hour one way, I don't. It gives me time to unwind after whatever work brought to my mind and also enjoy some greatb curvy back roads. Then when you get here, you don't hear cars, horns and sirens all over the place. At night I have a gorgeous view of the stars, not my neighbors bedroom, or city lights. It's just a way of life and I fully understand t doesn't appeal to everyone. I'm glad it doesn't, that's what makes people human, it's the differences in taste and personality.

Great explanation Scott.

Its God's country (that guy that you don't believe in). Its the most beautiful, relaxing, calming, invigorating place to be. I can walk out in my back yard and not be seen by anyone except, deer, turkeys, bears, bobcats, mountain lions (although the "experts" say they aren't here anymore, but they haven't spent the time in the woods I have, or seen the things I have). I can walk out buck naked, take a ****, and jump in the pool for a swim without wondering who is watching.

Not to mention that when/if **** goes bad, I can go off the grid and live off of my land indefinitely. Food, water, shelter, etc. without any outside help. I can provide for me and mine easily.

Once again. Don't care what city folk think of me, when their water gets cut off, or the grocery store shuts down, who is going to be laughing with plenty of water, plenty of food, and whatever else is needed? Me.

Had a coworker tell me that he saw a mustang looks just like mine with gt logos all around would probably smoke my car. I had to explain that if that's how it came that it's a 2010 model with a 4.6 and convince him mine was a 2011GT with a 5.0 and that I had removed my GT badge from the trunk. He still didn't believe me. Not saying a 4.6 modded couldn't have whooped my butt, but come on. His response kept coming saying "but it's a GT" I replied "so is mine"
