ok this is funny and completely unintentional. My lawnmower (nicknamed Mach E because it's rechargeable and quiet) seems to match the color scheme of my car haha! I only just noticed it today whilst cleaning in the garage.

With all the Issues With Lithium Ion Batteries I Would Not Be Charging That Mower Battery Near That Car! Just Saying! A Tool Shed Away From The House Would be Ideal! Need to Keep Family Safe For Sure as Well! I guess I Have Just Seen Too Many Security Cam Vids Where E- Scooters Go Up! Don't Mean to Be a Downer! It is Cool They Resemble Each Other BTW!

California Is Outlawing Gas Yard Equipment and My Neighbor is a Yard Service Guy and Just Bought a Bunch of Electric Stuff! I'm Not Liking a Bunch of Lithium Batteries Getting Charged in His Garage Which is only About 20 Feet From Mine! He Was Talking About Getting All Electric Trucks Too! I Advised Against That! Just What I Need 5 EV'S Next Door! LORD HELP ME!

KC

I am also aware of the news headlines regarding defective and aftermarket batteries that cause fires so i share your concern. The mower itself is not charged, instead there are 2 separate batteries that are charged well away from anything sensitive. I stick to the oem batteries and NEVER EVER replace with crap from you know where!

I Used to See First Hand When Helpers Put DEF in the Fuel tank in Diesels! It was a 6-8K Repair at The Dealership! Makes You Think! The Old Saying Measure Twice Cut Once Comes To Mind as Far As Being Careful & Sure!

It's Just Common Sense and Watching 2 Minutes of the Evening News Proves Common Sense is In Way Short Supply These Days! That Along With Truth! Not That I Watch it But Sometimes I Don't Get the channel Changed Quick Enough!

I double agree! Mute button is the best friend now and well, as for common sense, that's a whole other thing!

my baby strutting her stuff (but still need actual hood struts) at the local friday night gathering. The 80 Firebird Esprit parked beside me brought back lots of memories. It's all original, including paint and interior. No bondo filler. Just very well preserved. I had a '78 Trans Am and then an '81 Trans Am when i was in my late teens, early 20's.

It doesn't have a hood strut? I assumed all of them did now.

it's ridiculous. And the prop rod gets hot so opening the hood fresh after a drive is unpleasant. Roush hood strutses are on the wishlist for next month!

I honestly had no idea. I just figured since mine had it they all did now. Maybe at least on all the premium models Gt, mach etc. Why the hell would you carry 2 part numbers and assembly methods in production to only put it on the lowest volume car in the line up, especially when people have been *****ing for 20 years about it? Put it on them all and spread the cost out over many more vehicles. Galactically stupid.

I also hate that they got rid of the amber colored turn signals to save a buck! Just plain stupid!

Mine just has one on the passenger side where the strut tower brace is.

well for 170k up here in Canada, there's maybe enough economics for it to make sense on the GT500 LMAO. Guess there's just no margin left on a mere Mach 1 to allow for such a high priced accessory ... is my sarcasm showing?
