I'm in love with that car, now I want one. But I've also been looking at Cadillac CT5-V Black Wings. Only problem is that I'd have to build another garage.

haha! Past few days have seen some pretty good reactions from people. While picking up some gas fittings yesterday, an employee said it was his dream car and had to come take a closer look, along with a few other staff. Then today I was on the highway for a pleasure cruise to a distant coffee shop when I spotted some kids recording me as I passed them by. I don't mind

is this the CT5 model you speak of? If so, that is one killer looking Caddy!

Yes, but the CT 5 V has a turbo V6 of some sort, but still potent. The Black Wing is the bad ***. Basically the older ZR1 Corvette engine.
And you can still get it with a manual. 6.2 LS blower, 668 HP 4 Dr mid size luxury car. But they cost as much or more than the Shelby did. That's not a big deal, clearing land and building a new garage is a bit of a big bump in price to park it and a Mach 1.

Took a spirited drive around the neighborhood and snapped a pic close to sunset. It's wide open grain fields so a drive around the neighborhood is relative haha. Plenty of room to stretch her legs. Played around with myMode (confusing as hell) but enjoying sport mode with sport exhaust setting and comfort steering for the 'neighborhood'.
Thanks guys! I still feel giddy when I open the garage door
The tuning, suspension and transmission attitude is quite a bit different than my 19 was. The magneride is impressive too. When you feel the stiffness going into corners you expect the rough roads to make you wince, but the ride is surprisingly supple in straight lines. Our roads really suck in Alberta. almost post apocalyptic in some areas.

Alberta?? That's too bad to hear about the roads now. That link I provided earlier, although getting kinda old now, Alberta had really nice roads.

Very sweet pic of the Mach 1 indeed! I can definitely relate in regard to local roads which really suck... Even our interstate highways such as I-79 are horrible due to imperfections and uneven road surfaces... Then having to deal with stone chips from road construction projects is just another headache to put with up...

PA roads have always sucked, even back in the late 70's early 80's we payed extra to run the turnpike since it was a better road.

Your post just confirmed very little has changed since the late 70's early 80's, as the condition of our local roads are still just as bad if not even worse compared to 40-50 years ago... At one point, back in the day Pittsburgh was often referred to as Pothole capital U.S.A ... IMHO, it still is
