Thanks Burton! I would have had everything all done myself if it wasn't for the stupid piston! I'm almost positive that is why it stopped rotating on me when I was degreeing the cams.
As of right now, this is where I stand.

They just have to break in the engine and then it is off to the dyno!

Unless you're going to be running high power applications with your engine, E85 is a little pointless. Yes it burns cooler but it's less efficient and in some places it can be hard to find. I live in San Antonio Tx and I have to look for places around here that carry it.
Having said that, I am considering switching my fuel of choice to E85 specifically for the reason I mentioned, because in Texas there's no such thing as too much cooling.

Iowa has a ton of E85 as well - I just haven't pulled the trigger yet. My buddy in his 2015 STi, he went E85 too, and putting down 400whp, with a tad more boost and bigger injectors... that's it.

It was so simple. ID 1000 injectors, boost pump, tune and done. However I only use it for racing which is very rare. Long cruises I get around 12 mpg at 60 ish mph. With my 93 tune I get 24/25 doing the same speeds.

There is a lot of maintenance with running E85, I have read. Is this true?
(Cleaning or replacing injectors frequently and other things I have read from Josh over at Whipple. I think it was him. It may have been another vendor. Not sure.)

Not mine, but cleaned up my family friend's 2008 GT500 vert. Taking it to a local show tonight to see if I can find a buyer for her. He's probably late 70s and just can't drive it anymore - she only has 7k miles! Custom cream leather interior with red piping, custom white top, painted white stripes, Alpine double din head unit with backup camera. Anyone interested? Drivetrain is stock minus Flowmaster axlebacks.

looking 'fly' Burton, to coin a phrase from a comrade
Today i drove mine (fresh after yesterday's polish and glaze) to see my friend's new mansion, which has 5 garages and is a TOTAL mancave LOL, only to be comfronted with a LONG gravel road up to his driveway They had dug it up to put in new sewers and stuff. of course it was hot and bone dry today. oh well LMAO
