What did you do with your Mustang today?

Well I had planned on using my phone to record the digital speedo but my genius idea lasted right up to the first little shallow spot on the road, at which point it fell off the column and between my feet. I decided that at 130 mph, I was in fact not going to try to pick it up. I do have the gopro dash cam footage and will be uploading that shortly.

Thanks!
I wanted 200, but it was my first time running it and I got a little out of shape at the first turn because it's difficult to know when to slow down for it if you aren't familiar with that part of the road. Second straight after the road was longer than the first but it was slightly uphill and the engine was already starting to drop power from the heat (it was roughly 10* warmer when we ran than any other day, too, which didn't help). Speedo was crawling after 185 with throttle wide open. Got it to 192 and decided to shut it down since I didn't have enough room left to reach 200
That will change next year when I go back with the 2.8LC Kenne Bell on the motor.

Dude. Hell yeah! One of my automotive bucket list items is to drive 200mph. I'd like to figure out how to get 250 at some point as well.

Burton, no worries and THANKS a million for the recommendations. Your detailing expertise is much appreciated.
I’ll also take a look at the Klasse/Adams sealers that Darren GT and Joeywhat suggested.
I’ll admit to being behind the times, as I’ve been using Meguiars #20 since the early 1990’s on my Fords. It’s always been a good product, but perhaps becoming outdated by modern standards:

Today was our Firefighter Memorial Sunday. After the service, we had our annual FD outing. I took Fiona to the service, and brought the Mistress to the outing. She got a lot of attention...

Drove mine today, took it to Target to get a new coffee grinder.
In retrospect, I should've chosen a Target that was further away, lol
Been driving the Tundra a lot lately ... tomorrow it's going in to have the frame inspected for the recall ... part of me is hoping it will need a new frame, part is hoping they'll just undercoat it, so I'll get it back quicker.
But I'd really like a new frame, considering all the suspension mods I have planned for it, lol

Speaking of recalls, I haven't visited the dealer one bit for my mustang. Any recalls for our 12s???

Fired her up and moved her out of the garage to put some lawn chairs away in the garage, end of season. Man, she sounds good.
First time I sat in her over a week. lol

Drove to work. It's slowly starting to get chilly outside and not having the windows down sucks! On another note, I'd really love to trade my car for a v8, but I'd want a mach 1. I'd take a beating on trading mine though, which would be the worst part. I did find an 03 torch red(same color as my old car) for 19k with 6000 miles, completely stock.

If that doesn't work out,...sell your current car and buy mine.

Yeah, a word of caution: DON'T plant your goPro camera straight onto the dash. The video is almost useless if you're going at high speeds. I'll post the 192-mph run when work slows down a bit, but it's bad. I'll have to get a windshield mount for next time. Really not happy.

I've got one and I can vouch that it's **** solid. But I've only had mine up to 45 so I can't speak to how fast you can go w/ it. The only downside is articulation. You can only pan and tilt w/ it, not roll. Kinda limits the angles you can get

Finally got it out after dark so I could test out the grille lights. Very happy I decided to stick with wiring them to the high beams. Plenty of extra light on the road now, it's much easier seeing to either side of me now. The LED light seems to perfectly match the HID light in terms of color, which is also nice.
