yeah, I was smiling...cept I think I heard earlier it's not to bad of an injury; whats really bad about my school is that the mascot is the patriots, we are named after francis marion afterall, so if I wear anything that says Patriots on it, people think New England...

OMG Yeah Baby, the drag was truly a blast. Would I do it again ... YOU BET.
Qualifying
My first run was on my own at my request. My legs were shaking, my palms were sweaty. I did this little wimpy burn out (HAHA) I could not get the right ratio between the gas and clutch, which equals a bad reaction time and bad launch. So that one was what is was, practice.
My second run was against a Minivan, my reaction time was the best no shakiness. Even better burn out, I even got some smoke. (TEHEHEHE) I had a good launch, I getting the hang of it now.
My third run was sweetish, against a little import something, it felt right. Much better burn out, better launch, but I left too quick, ****. So as I was kicking myself for leaving too soon I forget to move to 3rd gear DOH. Because my opponent left to soon as well, a smidge before me, I won. A win is A win.
Elimination
Final round, ****. I find out that I’m running against last year’s street class winner, gezzzzz so yeah he won. Before the drag one driver comes up to me and says, there is no shame in losing to this driver. Thank you I said. The next thing I know my opponent is over at my car checking it out, weird did expect that. Next someone comes over and checks my dial in time. Then as the track official lines us up he says to me you’ll do fine, he is running a new V8 in his chev S10, and he will start behind me, and he is last year’s champ.

glad you had fun, drag racing is a lot of fun...until you start breaking things
back when the racecar was still street legal and only had about 450hp, we would tow it just in case we broke something, and it didnt take too long to figure out that the stock rear axles werent much good for nothing

so I almost cried today...I watched a dumb sorority girl (you know the type, kinda stupid, huge face-covering sunglasses, sandals, one of those hollisterish shirts) drive her Mustang right into a wall. for some reason she tried backing up into a spot, I started thinking that this wouldnt turn out good, just about the same time she hit the throttle and slammed into a brick wall. it really is a shame that some people have such nice cars and dont give a crap about them. Im sure she just called daddy and asked for a mercedes instead
