It will most likely also need a new A/C control panel as the A/C and heat dont work properly, and now one of the LED's that lights up the board has gone off, and you can't really replace that very easily. My tranny hang up thing he seems to think is low fluid level, I've checked it and it's never been low, but I'm no mechanic, so we'll see. Those aholes want $180 for a tranny fluid change! what a ripoff! We'll see how it goes, hopefully I'll have my car to start school back next tuesday, but I seriously doubt it.

I also got a credit card account set up this afternoon, so I can start getting some stuff from online, and more importantly build up some credit

I don't have any credit cards, nor do I ever want any. The whole concept of them just seems dumb to me.

oh hell no, I know enough about how credit card companies work, they arent getting an extra dime from this guy. people buying on credit and stuff they couldnt afford was alot of what's got us in such bad shape economically right now. As far as I'm concerned, it's not a "credit" card, just a "cash" card.

I dont fall for the small type crap they try to pull on alot of college students. And because I'm a student, it's got my dad as a cosigner, and he dont take crap from nobody. I tell everyone I can how f'd you'll be if you start buying outside your credit. And the student loans, oh the student loans. Those are so screwed up its terrible. I want to pay of mine by the end of junior year. I think it's possible, it'll save me sooooo much money in the long term.

I accepted a loan my freshman year, before I knew any better, but it was only $1200. I'll pay it off within six months of graduating, before interest kicks in.
