all i did was stir it. the school mixes it. but seeing the color in person it is defintely mixed right. looks exactly like the Bullitt
its just my own inexperience with the paint. Can't blame it on anything/one but myself but its frustrating nonetheless
also, DHG looks good on everything

that damned teapot isnt done yet. the entire surface is fine, totally dry and smooth to boot, but those STUPID DUNS have taken over 2.5 hours and still aren't done drying. i think i might call it quits and deal with this crap tomorrow.
i'll have to get up, photocopy all the crap i need for Drafting, then head straight to school to finish this teapot. ill have to wetsand and repaint and clearcoat. hopefully i can finish before class starts so that after class all i have to do is make the poster.

its no a coupe anymore, its a roadster
I did alright, alot of the other bots were better designed for combat. I was just focused on getting all the electronics and sensors to work properly and then on making it look awesome.
I was the only robot running open headers
today i've got to go photocopy all my drafting work, then go back to school, turn in my computer drafting final, turn in all the regular drafting stuff an spend the rest of the day working on the teapot/poster

yeah tomorrows my last day, and its just a presentation of the teapot.
grades... hahahah
well I know I have a B+ in regular drafting, so thats good
In computer drafting i have somewhere around a C, C-. My Final is at least C level work, so I've got that
In Design problem solving (the class where I made the robot and other cool stuff) I went into the final with a D+ (that water pump failure and poor performance on the part of my bridge destroyed me...) I did however get a B+ on the robot itself, which was the final. I should be at at least a C now
And finally... Model Making. I don't klnow what my actual grade in this class is. my teacher just left it as "not passing." The teapot must be absolutely flawless and perfect for me to scrape out with a passing grade. This is the number one most challenging class I've ever taken. alot of these low grades and problems come from me having to travel 2 hours to get to school just to work on projects, but just as much of the blame falls on me for being a lazy **** and not sucking it up and going to the shop on weekends to work.
so my grades aren't spectacular, but then again, they weren't last year at UOP either. its a far cry from my 4.0 GPA my freshman year in HS, and my 3.65 GPA over the four years of high school put together. As long as I pass, I'm happy. In this line of work, everyone says grades are not important as long as you pass and that your portfolio is what matters most.

sounds like the college of design at NCSU, that's where I was going to be initially, there's a hall right across the pathway from where most of them live, that is just a crap load of studios for the students to work in. I was told people sleep there on occasion

I like it. I posted a comment about it this morning in Midewest thread. It is very classy too.
I am currently being quoted in 3 sigs and have 2 links in another.
Plus I've given Mark the innaugral The Gary's Stamp of Approval.
So I've got that going for me...
