I've been looking to buy a pickup truck for some time now, but as soon I see the ad and contact the seller, it's already gone

 

Went to a car show today in Lewes Delaware.
This was nasty as the license plate States!!!

 

My son had that problem when he was looking for a 4x4 F150 when he was stationed on Oahu.







I'm working on getting a quote to fix my peeling clearcoat on my side scoops and hood scoop.....

 

 

So, $600 to repaint my hood scoop and side scoops and I asked him to throw in a quote for my rear bumper because it's just really dull and looks terrible too. So another $500 for that I worry about it really bugging me that I'll notice the repainted pieces every time I look at her......


Any of you know for certain if the stock side scoops are stick on or bolt on?

 

IIRC they are stick on, with a divot in the quarter panel at the top and bottom and a two little nubs on the back of the scoops that fit in to them to line them up correctly.

 

Thanks. I did a quick search on the internet but didn't have time to really look into it. I think my body shop guy believes they bolt on but I didn't think so. I think just the hood scoop bolts on.

 

Don't worry about it too much. All the plastic parts are painted independently from the body at the factory anyway! They're all prepainted and sitting on a shelf ready to go on to the painted bodies. That's why the plastic parts never match the metal body 100% - they never will, due to the different materials properties.

 

That, and I believe they add a flex agent to the bumper paint that might impact color match slightly.

 

At least it will definitely look better than it does now, that's for sure!

 

Almost forgot...... My youngest was crazy enough to join the rest of the fans outside of the arena in DC to watch the game

I never have been able to eat anything in a shell. Crabs, crab legs, lobsters, crawfish, I waste more than I get to eat because I can't get it out of the damned shell. Just no good at it. Too much effort for too little food. Same way with shrimp, I can eat my weight in them, but can't peel them for ****, just tear them all to hell.

Now if someone does it for me, I'll mow that **** down.

 

I get tired of picking them before I ever get full from them, that's for sure. And around here we are pretty much taught to pick steamed crabs before we learn to walk, lol

 

We never learned to pick crabs around here, we just used a tiny little comb,
