I had zero problems today going home. I was able to work my way out of the city via side streets and out of the main congestion. But I never was in a hurry and just went in 4wd high. Truck did flawless. I got a ton of pics ill post up.

The last hill I had to go up before home has 7 cars off in the ditches, it's got sharp turns during the hill. I went right up it by staying out of the grooves everyone else cut and would drop my tires off the edge of the road into the dirt which provided great traction.

Took 6.5 hrs to get home. Nice thing was found fresh deer tracks in the snow on my driveway lol.
Holy ****!!!!!!!

Thanks. Just woke up and turned on news, there are still thousands stuck on freeways and areas in town. People running out of gas, etc. Crazy just to think about.

We got sleeted on for 3 hours and then snowed on. Not a ton of either, but enough to be dangerous. Got an ice layer under the snow. Supposed to be warm enough to melt the ice, then back in the teens tonight to freeze it again.

We've had numerous calls with the fire dept and basically me and another guy were running medical out of my truck and my assistant chief and a guy out of his. It was easier than trying to get any of our trucks out in it. Also pulled 4 Chevys out of ditches and a few other various cars. Made for fun prodding

All in all, my truck had performed flawlessly and I couldn't have been happier. I do need new shocks, a spirited run down a trail bypassing a blocked road made me realize it lol.

I saw a Chevy trying to pull another Chevy out of a ditch yesterday, 20mins later heard about it on the radio guess it wasn't going to well.
My truck lose traction once in a while, but not often, and only in 4X2 not 4X4.

There's a price to be paid for driving a Chevy. Apparently it's being stuck in a ditch while my Ford drives by.
