the crappy part about my wife being gone is that I can't take the '65 anywhere on account there are not seatbelts in the back seat/can't put the car seats in it. Gott take the freestyle everywhere.
Fun Fact, the '65 is the lowest mileage vehicle we own. it has 104,000 miles on it. the Taurus 161,000 and the Freestyle 193,000.

Speaking of sex... one of my mare's is in heat. Stronger than usual. 
She's in the herd with a gelding. So she's whinnying, nosing, then stomping... the typical tease. And then he replies with stomping and whinnying. He knows he's supposed to be doing this part of the dance, but as a gelding doesn't know what to do next. lol
All day there's been all this noise between them - which drives all the stallions NUTS! Particularly the alpha stud.
Its been so loud for hours I'm afraid my far away neighbors might complain. Good thing I'm in an open range area where the only animal laws are for dogs barking.
If only they made mare vibrators so she could get some relief!

Klamath Basin irrigation shutoffs coming this week

GRANTS PASS, Ore. (AP) -- Oregon state officials figure they won't start shutting off irrigation water in the drought-stricken upper Klamath Basin until later this week.
Doug Woodcock of the state Water Resources Department said Tuesday that first they must carefully measure the flow in rivers and streams where the Klamath Tribes and the federal government have exercised their senior water rights on tens of thousands of acres.
The tribes are protecting flows for fish in rivers running through their former reservation lands [as in - they SOLD them for MILLIONS in CASH]. The federal government is securing water for a federal irrigation project and wildlife refuges downstream.
Faced with no water to irrigate pastures through the dry summer, ranchers around Fort Klamath, Chiloquin, Sprague River, Bly and Beatty are scrambling to find feed for more than 70,000 cattle.

Poor Sparkels. He can't figure Dancer out. She keeps coming to him all sweet & friendly swishing her tail & winking at him. Then when he shows any interest, she strikes at him. So then he thinks she's bossing him away from hay so he goes to another pile all rejected. Then 10 mins later she comes over all friendly, and the same thing happens all over again.
I told him "I know its tough to comprehend son, but basically she's hoping you'll get her drunk, get her pregnant, then when she sobers up she'll hire one of those horse traders and take your foal, your barn, demand foal support and alimony to pay for her hay for the rest of her life. Capiche?"
He shook his head
and snorted!
But 10 mins later he must have forgotten what I said cause he's doing it all over again.

Entertainment Law. The plan is to move to Nashville soon and get into the music business full time. Even if I don't "make it" as a performer, with my experience I should be able to find work in that area, and she'd have a great deal of opportunity too.
