Ok, so finally here's some pics from our weekend. The pics where you see the gates coming down is actually at the top end of the track. The track is on the left of the road and you have to cross the road before they get to the sand trap. So they close the gates when the cars run. A pic of the Susquehanna Bridge, got a shot of an Amish horse and buggy too.

Sorry, I wish I could help you out and hook you up but you gotta do it on your own. I figured I better take a pic of my 14 year old son (on the right) since he couldn't take his eyes off of them.
The camera is only a 5MP Kodak DX7590. It's nothing fancy, just a point and shoot. But it's been a great camera.

they look sooo awesome, the cars too, lol (sry I had too)
seriously, those cars are something else when they leave. I saw the IHRA at Rockingham a few months ago, the good thing about that track is that all down the left lane, until about 1250' or so, there are bleachers directly against the back of the track wall, so you can get so close when those cars come by, it is absolutely incredible to have 8000hp flying by you at 300mph!

Hey one cool thing with an I phone is welhen it's plugged into the mp3 jack and the phone rings it tones down fast and gives you the choice to take the call or not, then after the music goes back where it was not quite Sync but a tad closer.

It definitely was a good time! You are right, they are something else when they leave. I kept trying to get a good video with my camera, but it's so hard to track them cuz they go so fast. We couldn't wait to get my neighbor nitro'd while we were walking through the pits. Nothing like your eyes burning and coughing and choking to the smell of nitro!
