Well for once I'm glad the worthless UPS driver was late today as I was waiting on tires for the Shelby before heading down to mount them all at once....guess I'll put the race tires back on the shelf for now

Eerie.. Saw this pic on facebook, with the attached quote.

Due to more significant damage found around Oak Grove High School and in a housing area farther southwest, the tornado that moved through Hattiesburg, MS was upgraded to an EF4, with max wind of 170 mph. A second tornado was confirmed from the same supercell in Marion and Lamar counties in Mississippi. For more information check out www.valleywx.com! Below is an image of damage at the football field of Oak Grove High School via NWS-Jackson.

Now what makes the above post so eerie for me..

I graduated from Oak Grove high school here in Alabama, not the one pictured above. But my senior year, 1998, on april 8th, a massive F5 tornado came through and destroyed it.

That was along time ago the 2nd pics I posted. Luckily that storm came through at night about 7:30.. only ppl at the school was some cheerleaders who got in a safe spot int eh gym.. the main area of the gym collapsed but where they were, stayed untouched.

Youc an read about that storm Here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/April_1...ingham_tornado

edit: that was my first experience with large scale mass destruction :/

I like those white ones that look like a gigantic mop. I don't know how they see where they're going.

I think I would be finding a hole to crawl in, not taking pictures. Tornados on the east coast are a lot deadlier than the ones out west, just because there's a lot more trees and ridges to hide them
