No worries, let age come. I loved my 20's, but in my 30's everything just got better and better and better and better 40's are proving to be grand too, life is good!!

Now 50-something.....I don't know about that lol.
Well, you only have a couple of years on me, I'm 43 and I don't feel any particular age either. I'm ALMOST looking forward to my 50's.....kids will be out of the house (as much as I love them, they better be out of the house)....house should be paid for.......life will be good

ok, you asked!! I tend to get hooked on a "topic" and then read a ton of books on the topic and then move on to the next. The latest has been Alaskan Indian culture (surprise surprise), this past year has also been Appalachia - (women, mining, small town politics etc), the history of jeans in the US, the history of swimming pools in the US, corruption of the Chicago judicial system, can't think of what else I'll have to go look. Weird, I know. Here's the Alaska titles, I picked these up along the way when I was there:

Wallis, Velma. Bird Girl and the Man Who Followed the Sun. An Athabaskan Indian Legend from Alaska. Harper Perennial, 1997.

Wallis, Velma. Two Old Women. An Alaska Legend of Betrayal, Courage, and Survival. Perennial, 2004.

Specht, Robert. Tisha. The Wonderful True Story of a Young School Teacher in the Alaskan Wilderness. (set in the early 1900's). Bantam Books, 1976.

Guthridge, George. The Kids From Nowhere. The Story Behind the Arctic Educational Miracle. Alaska Northwest Books, 2006. This is a GOOD one!!!

When you're done with those I'll give you the others from the past year and more if you want, I have hundreds of books. (yeah, I'm reading addicted lol).

I may have to check them out. Right now I'm getting ready to (re) read Marley and Me. I've read it before, but it's been a while. It's a good book for dog lovers. The movie is getting ready to come out and I want to read it again before I see the movie. Do you ever read Nicholas Sparks? He's my absolute favorite author.
