We're getting out 3rd storm here today and tonight too. I'm in the heavy area this time. Mustang season is over for me now... unless this winter turns out like the last one, but I doubt it.

I think they are only calling for 2 - 4" where I am but if it keeps coming down like this all day, it will be more. Not supposed to stop until 6 tonight.

 

It's just spitting a few flakes now. Most will happen over night as it comes up the coast.

I'm in short sleeves and flip flops too, but last time I went out to smoke my nipples got hard enough to cut a diamond. 35 degrees.

I made a pot and brought it with us. Had some of it last night for supper.

I like chili with rice and cornbread.

My favorite though is chili with a peanut butter and jelly sammich and a glass of milk. People look at me like I'm crazy when I eat that, but they used to serve that at school for lunch and I always loved that meal for some reason.

 

Speaking of that, why do we have them? I don't need them for anything.

 

Yes!! There is a line there where everything comes together just right. One one side you get too much sour mix flavor and no buzz, on the other it gets a funky twang from the mixed liquors.

The recipe that I've come up with that suits my taste (and everyone that has tried it) fits perfectly in my mason jar full of ice.

I pre-mix equal amounts of all my liquors together. I use Seagram's gin, Smirnoff vodka, Curervo gold, Bacardi silver, and Dekuyper triple sec.

I call it the 3-2-1 method so its easy for people to remember.

I use 3 oz. of the pre-mixed liquor

2 oz. of Finest Call sweet & sour (best mixes I've ever used, look through the site and try some of them. Only place to get them here is at the liquor store though) I actually use one of the Finest Call bottles to pre-mix my liquors in. The built in pourer is nice.

1 oz. Coke.


Stir and enjoy.
