Ok serious question for you guys. Drive her home and left her running. She's putting out 13.4 volts at the battery. Too low or is that normal for these cars? I know others had issues with under powered alternators. I do have the shaker 1000 and usually listen to my radio for about 20 minutes at lunchtime. Maybe I need to let her run for part of the time

If it was the alternator, it probably wouldn't have ran all the way home, it would have drained the battery and died. I don't know about these new cars, but on old cars you can unhook the battery with it running and drive it anywhere because the alternator is what is powering everything, the battery is just there to provide the initial start for the most part.

Little trick for you people. Very hot water will take any battery corrosion off like magic.

I think it should read somewhere just over 14v at idle.
Is it a motorcraft? I read you said it was you second. I finally have up on getting motorcraft warranty replacements because a cell would go bad and then on the replacement too. Just get an interstate and be done with it.
It's happened to me on Seven and the old Expedition more than once.
